Bio

Sue Cho is an award-winning painter who has been in solo, invitational and juried exhibitions from Michigan to New Jersey.  Exhibition venues have included the Korean Cultural Center Gallery (New York, NY) and the Kresge Gallery (Lansing, MI).

Cho was born in Korea, and her father, a well-known calligrapher, fostered her creativity from an early age.  She received international art training and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Fine Arts.  Cho was encouraged to pursue painting by renowned mentors Tony De Blasi and Cliff McChesney.

After two decades of operating her own business and creating art on the side, Cho has devoted herself to art-making full-time.  Her bright and ebullient paintings are represented in private collections across the United States.  Cho currently resides in Ridgefield, CT and is a member of the Ridgefield Guild of Artists.
